The Clare Valley is located 1 1/2 hours drive north of Adelaide,
set amongst rolling hills of pastoral and farming land, vineyards and bushland.
The region is renown for its quality wines, gourmet restaurants, cafes, and old town pubs.
There are plenty of exploring opportunities for everyone with the area rich in pioneering history (dating back over 160 years)
and National Parks, natural bushland reserves.
The Clare Visitor Information Centre is located on the Park boundary
to help you plan your Clare Valley stay.

Visit the many wineries nestled in the Clare Valley.
Cellar doors are open for wine tasting
and sales.
- Riesling Trail
Cycle or walk the picturesque trail which runs from Auburn to Clare. Track is sealed, suitable for recreational walkers.
Bike hire available at the Park office.
- Clare Valley Gourmet Weekend
Held annually in May.
Visiting and local restaurants team up with the wineries in the district,
serving fine food and wine at their cellar doors.
- Spring Gully National Park
Explore the steep
gullies leading to the creek bed and the Cascades Waterfall. Ideal for
birdwatching and viewing the wildlife. Take a picnic to the Bluegum
Lookout.
- Clare Races, Horse Racing Meetings
Easter and Oaks Day.
- National Trust Museum
Located in the historic Police Station.
- Bungaree Sheep Station
Visit the sheep station run by the Hawker family since 1841.
- Sevenhill Cellars
Owned and operated by Jesuits since 1851.
Supplying sacramental wine to Australia and parts of Asia.
- Martindale Hall, Mintaro
This Georgian mansion
was built in 1879 on the sheep station, Martindale Station. Seen in the
film, Picnic at Hanging Rock. Tours are conducted daily.
